Diane joined J. Jacobs & Associates in early 2019 and has been a great asset to the team since her arrival. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University. She is a fantastic customer service-oriented individual with many years of experience helping clients at the corporate level and she is a very valuable team player.
While the team works together on each account, she works closely with our clients assisting them in policy changes, issuance of certificates of insurance, billing questions and many other service-related requests. Kristi rejoined the family agency in 2017 as the Director for the Commercial Lines Department. Kristi has over 24 years of experience in the insurance industry and/or in a management role. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Baker College in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Marketing. She is licensed in Property & Casualty, Life & Health.
Her primary role is to maintain the daily operations of the Commercial Department including overall client service, production, training & team preparedness. She works closely with our clients to ensure that they have a comprehensive insurance portfolio that is as unique as their business is while also working closely with the department team to develop and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
Coty has joined the J. Jacobs & Associates team with experience as an entrepreneur and with a background of internal & external sales. He has a strong focus on business management and he has proven this through his leadership roles in his past. His 5+ years experience in the construction industry will allow Coty to effectively recognize and evaluate exposures and risks at a more in-depth level having a broad knowledge of many facets of construction and what it entails.
As an active volunteer in his community combined with having been an entrepreneur himself, Coty has a solid understanding of what business owners face in the day-to-day challenges of owning a business.
With a Property & Casualty license, and an attentive personality, Coty works hard to build a rapport with his clients so each and every individual is confident that they understand what their insurance risks & exposures are and they are able to fulfill that need.
I'm a sales agent at J.Jacobs and associates. I became licensed in property and casualty insurance in 2010 and went on to obtain my life insurance license in 2016. In 2017, I earned my CISR designation with The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. I've been employed with J.Jacobs and Associates for almost a year and truly believe the agency stands out in client care and service.
I find my position most fulfilling when I am able to have meaningful conversations with our clients about their risk exposures and gaps in coverage. Outside of work you will find me camping, hiking, and kayaking with my daughter, through our great state.
My first job after graduating from MSU was in the Risk Management department at Wayne State University as their CSR. I worked there for eleven years and completed my tenure as the Assistant Director for Risk Management. I have my Bachelor's Degree from MSU and my Associate in Risk Management designation (ARM) from Lawrence Tech. I now work at J. Jacobs & Associates in Lake Orion and started working at the agency 9 years ago. I have had my P&C license for 8 years. As the Office Manager in our Personal Lines Department, I enjoy helping customers achieve their insurance goals and believe we have the best staff here to accomplish that. Two "Best of the Best

I have a BA in Exercise Science from SVSU. I worked in Fire and Water Restoration for 3 years. I would go into people's homes to clean up after fire and water losses. This piqued my interest in learning more about insurance.
I saw the other side of the claims process and dealt with insurance companies and adjusters and got to see first hand how claims get handled and the cleanup process. I have since been working in insurance for a year and half and I got licensed right away. I have currently been with J. Jacobs for 6 months now.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, family, and friends, as well as camping, going up north, and supporting our Michigan sports teams.
I have been in the Insurance Industry for most of my life. Starting full time in insurance running this agency since 2001. I have a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Minor in Computer Science from U of M.
Prior to insurance I worked for Comerica headquarters and ran a few restaurants.
